Boogie Down Cinema is passionate about the work we do within our community. Our mission is to empower young people ages 14-24 in under-served communities by educating them on the technical and creative aspects of digital media production. Our educational focus is based on three pillars: Skills, Awareness and Mentoring. Our hands-on programming prepares our students with the relevant training, leadership and critical-thinking skills they need to be successful in the industry and in life.
