In the summer of 2022, Boogie Down Cinema worked with the youth at Bronx Community Justice Center to produce a magazine photographed by the participants themselves! The Digital Media interns began their 6-week journey dissecting current media and analyzing the positive and negative influences of popular media in society today. This exploration led our participants to create a photo shoot surrounding around identity, hair and what it’s like being a young person of color in America today.
